CUDRR+R Receives Research Grant for Work on Climate Resilient Cities in Latin America

CUDRR+R, along with partner organizations IIED-Latin America and Alterra, has won a grant from the Climate Resilient Cities in Latin America research call issued by the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), Canada’s International Development Research Center (IDRC), and Fundacion Futuro Latinoamericano (FFLA-Ecuador).

CUDRR+R’s winning project proposal, A Participatory Decision-Making Approach Towards Climate-Resilient and Inclusive Urban Development in Latin America, was one six grant recipients in a field of over 200 participants in the research call.

The winning project focuses on developing and applying a practical, innovative and participatory methodology and toolbox to support climate-resilient, inclusive urban development in the rapidly growing cities of Latin America and strengthening the capacities of local stakeholders.
