Our Mission and Goals

CUDRR+R is a charitable non-profit organization, 501 c3, incorporated in New York State in 2014.

CUDRR+R’s mission is to produce knowledge and to undertake practices and partnerships that will advance urban risk reduction and resilience building to natural hazards and the impacts of climate change.

To that end, we envision to undertake research, provide advisory and technical services, and to foster partnerships on:

1.  Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Urban Planning, Design, and Development;
2.  Resilient and Energy Efficient Architectural Systems including Cultural Heritage Preservation.
