On October 16, 2025, the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR), G20 Ministers adopted the G20 DRR Working Group Ministerial Declaration: Resilience for All: Strengthening Disaster Risk Reduction through Solidarity, Equality, and Sustainability. The Declaration reaffirms the intrinsic relation between resilience and sustainable development and underscores the need for integrated, inclusive, people-centered and comprehensive approaches to Disaster Risk Reduction. The Center for Urban Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience is delighted to have supported the adaptation of the ministerial declaration.
