Joakim Aspegren is the co-founder and President of Architecture Restoration Conservation (ARC) pc, an architectural and engineering firm established in 2002 and based in New York City. He has a dual Masters from Columbia University in Architecture and Historic Preservation and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.
As a principal architect, Joakim Aspegren has led more than 150 architectural restoration projects and in recent years, climate focused building upgrades, such as the installation of solar and green roofs, providing services to public institutions, non-profit organizations and private entities.
Previously, Joakim Aspegren worked as a consultant to the World Monuments Fund and completed building and restoration projects in California and in Finland.
Joakim Aspegren is a registered architect in New York State (AIA) and is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute, Association for Preservation Technology and the International Concrete Restoration Institute.
